(the original squadron that was formed November 2001)

Where are Vultures Row in the CFS1 sector?

Vultures Row expanded into Il2 Forgotten Battles in August 21st 2003. IL2 being the fantastic sim it is, soon transformed VR cfs1 pilots into just il2 flyers. Unfortunately this is where the downhill struggle began for the Combat Flight Sim 1 Wing.

The CFS 1 Wing continued to be active until 10th Feb 2004, until there were not enough pilots to enabling the wing to fly anymore.

It was decided that VR will no longer:

Support cfs as an active game that pilots must fly in VR uniform.
VR can no longer claim any authority over pilots who fly CFS. We would ask them to do nothing to bring VR into disrepute but they are free to fly with whom they will.

VR will continue it's good will toward CFS by maintaining certain parts of this site and that we count it as an officially "supported" game rather than one we fly. Discarding the wing completely would be erasing the history of VR and the many hours of enjoyment each one of us had when we started this game.
